We already push our hybrid crops to the max with fertilizers and all manners of chemicals, and we still can't feed everyone. Take away the bees and we are truly screwed.

I never said we face extinction from their fate, and losing bees. You may have the wrong person here kiddo. I have no knowledge in this area. I can't see any problems with losing the bees, but again haven't looked into it whatsoever.

Einstein has been credited with a quote that eluded to the human race disappearing if the bees did. He may or may not have actually said it, but it is a good quote nonetheless.
I get the two Alberts mixed up too, Techno. Easy mistake to make... |

Important question, Boss: "Can you tie your shoelaces?"*
*Einstein could not, he considered it a waste of brain power. I can't ask a maths question, as mine is not good enough to understand the answer.

There's a story about Einstein going to a convention, and his wife packing his suitcase for him as usual. When he came back a week later, she accused him of having an affair. He denied it, but she opened his immaculately packed suitcase and said that he could never have done such a good job by himself. He had to admit that he was wearing the same clothes he left in, and he hadn't opened the case during the entire trip. He was a mess, but a brilliant one.
