Does Singapore have bird flu?

I am asking this question because about 3 days ago I was watching this talent show type program on TV and this kid who was going to do tricks on his bike just came back from Singapore and the Host was saying how the kid was performing with a 104 deg. Temp(remember he JUST got back from Singapore they said) you can see he looked sick and was sweating...anyway, the kid shook the host's hand, then the host had a medal in his hand after that to give to the winner which was the other kid...then that kid kissed the metal. Just goes to show you how a virus could easily spread. IF the kid had BF or any flu he most likely gave to several people on plane on his way over to the US then of course the host becuase of shaking his hand and the other kid when he kissed the medal the host was holding...etc...
