Maybe I've been here too long and gotten jaded, but I tend to bet on the viruses because they don't have to go through years of clinical trials just to get a mutation approved and that often seems to put them a couple of steps ahead of us. This is still potentially good news though - fingers crossed it works in human trials without side effects serious enough to sideline it.
Now they just need to make 7 billion doses real quick.
