Hope people have a little money set aside to pay the mtg/rent for around 90 days.  If not, we will all pull our resources together.  Obviously going to work and leaving the home may not be an option.

I would hope if H7N9 is a really deadly wide spread pandemic that the government will do a freeze of some sort. This will allow the dust to settle and let people bury the dead and come out of SIP.

Many businesses will close down meaning people will not have money to pay bills so something will have to give. That giver should be time. If you did not pay your utility bill for 4 months they should spread that total amount over 12 months. Just my idea of fair.

I remember reading a while back that the government's pandemic plans would allow for a moratorium on rents and mortgages if it got really bad. I guess a sick population would be a lot better than a homeless sick population.
