Am I the only parent that seems to notice this? Everytime my kids get the cold or flu it is always from school. I think this is partly due to the fact that we now have both parents in most households working and they cannot afford to miss a day of work if they were to stay home with a sick child. So instead of keeping sick children home, most parents will often send them to school knowing that they could infect other students in their class. This is why I'm considering homeschooling for my children.

First list all of the reasons you would like to homeschool the kids... other than flu.
Look at all the internet offerings for info... just google homeschooling.
I know many people who did and liked it. But they were more layed back about it than some. The main aim was enjoyment of reading ... the library was a place they went about 3 times a week. So much to offer...classes, theater... art. If you still want to after looking into it more... their good health would be ...an added bonus.
