Tech,
I think it would depend on how you're spreading the luv. Not yet showing outward signs, but licking lamposts... you might be able to spread it |

With this first Ebola case getting diagnosed in the USA coming from an inbound traveler via plane - what changes do you think we'll soon see to flight restrictions or screenings?
No doubt there will be other cases popping up around the globe - I can't imagine countries not implementing some pretty strict screenings if a few more cases start turning up through flight travels. |

Absolutely none, because they want this to reduce world population, which it will absolutely do. This will also be the reason for the world's economy to collapse. How convenient for the U.S. if they can blame Ebola on our economic collapse. |

Many of the people and agencies involved in the fight with Ebola in West Africa combined and wrote an open letter to European governments. It was published in the Lancet. Heres what they wrote about travel (note most airlines here suspended direct flights mid August).... So this letter was written just 5 days ago ...... Quote "Finally, with regards to transport and logistics, governments should go beyond requesting companies to resume travel to the affected regions (a measure that is not only epidemiologically unnecessary, but also counterproductive) and create strong incentives for them to do so, while also mobilising military and civil transport by air, sea, and land to ship food, supplies, and personnel to the affected regions." Their words " epidemiologically unnecessary".....may need to he reworked. Also the " create strong incentives " and the " go beyond requesting " don't sit too well either. |

yeah, the airlines have got this. Aren't they the same ones who used to ask you "Did you pack your own luggage? Has anyone else been in contact with your luggage since you packed it?"
and that was what passed for security of the baggage put on the planes. |

Hazelpad, I like your way of thinking. It sounds perfectly plausible to me. I suspect that there are many people in Africa thinking exactly like you. Afterall, if there is no hope of reasonable treatment in your home country and you can get to the West, why wouldn't you? To hell with being concerned about others. As Chuck said in an earlier post, in the event of a life threatening situation, people run for their lives.

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

I have to agree with Albert, it's time to stop all flights from West Africa and to stop all passengers with connecting flights coming into the U.S. This is a no brainer and should have been done months ago. Apparently Obama and the CDC think denial is a river in Egypt.
As I have said in the past, (As far as the government is concerned)this is not a disease issue, but rather an economic issue, and the banning of air travel will immediately lead to economic collapse for many countries (including the U.S.), so I don't see it happening anytime soon. Although this will certainly not happen, The Dallas "victim" should be arrested if it comes out that he/she knowingly got onto an international flight knowing they had Ebola (which is my theory of what happened. |

That is how I feel about the toxic conditioning that is taking place in this atmosphere. It is hopeless and terrifying. Everyone I love dies from it. I have died over and over. The pain is beyond imagination. |

To All, I saw the CDC report on TV last night. The Director of the CDC said that this is going to be no problem at all and that scares me. After all,the CDC and the WHO have done such a wonderful job of treating Ebola in Africa. They have a track record of how good they are.Johnray1
