Nearly 20,000 nurses went on strike in California on Tuesday over patient care issues that include what their union views as insufficient protection for nurses who may care for patients stricken with the deadly Ebola virus, in a prelude to broader national protests expected on Wednesday. Some people may wonder why this is and their reaction. If you're a nurse, you're currently seeing a lot of people come into the hospitals/clinics with flu-like symptoms at the moment. They're on a different playing field than others and there is a lot of unease with flu patients coming in - and they're right. They will never know.. Keep those patient questionnaires handy.
