My friend lived in that area for school and had an unexplained grand mal seizure out of nowhere, in which prompted her to return to Riverside County to live closer to her parents' home..
Be prepared! It may be time....^_^v

Richard Mathews, candidate for California State Senate who studied physics & astronomy at CALTECH (32:00 in): “People are really concerned about this, people are seriously getting sick… Thousands of people are getting sick from this — and it really is a major, major disaster… Methane floats away and spreads around the whole world… All the contaminants that are in with the methane are heavier than the air and that includes… benzene and toluene, hydrogen sulfide — all of those are heavier than air — they tend to stay close to the ground and move downhill. This is happening in the hills above the San Fernando Valley [home to nearly 2 million people] and so the poisons are all moving down into the San Fernando Valley and spreading through the entire San Fernando Valley… As the radon and other substances flow around, they are accumulating. They are not easily blown out of the valley, and we are getting higher and higher levels… The lead is going to be around for decades… The initiallead that you get is radioactive. This will be a continuing problem… It could spread through the entire San Fernando Valley… The damage that the radon does stays in your body… andshows up as cancer a decade after, maybe even 80 years later. So we really need to follow through.”

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

http://ecowatch.com/2016/01/10/porter-ranch-natural-gas-leak/

Californians’ attention turned to the problem of aging pipeline infrastructure in our cities, when a suburban neighborhood in the town of San Bruno was destroyed in a 2010 natural gas pipeline explosion. Then Nathan Phillips at Boston University used gas analyzers to develop 3-D “methane maps” in urban environments, estimating 7-15 percent of global manmade methane pollution could be coming from pipes in cities bringing natural gas to consumers.

Until Aliso Canyon, we weren’t looking at the step in the supply chain before urban pipelines—storage facilities. Refined natural gas has been stored in former oil wells at Aliso Canyon since the 70’s; when the oil wells were emptied, they were repurposed for storage of natural gas. The volcano of methane that is now California’s largest single source of greenhouse gases is coming from a broken well that was last inspected in 1976. The LA Weekly reports that the well’s safety valve was inexplicably removed in 1979. Among the hundred at the facility, other wells also lack safety valves.

Aliso Canyon was a disaster waiting to happen. The facility was old, poorly managed and experienced abysmal oversight. Gov. Jerry Brown finally declared a state of emergency last week, directing state agencies to take unprecedented action on underground gas storage in the Golden State.

There are more than 300 similar facilities around the country. We need to to make sure that we don’t have other climate and health disasters waiting to happen in California and around the U.S.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

http://www.thomhartmann.com/blog/2016/01/how-corporate-greed-caused-massive-ca-methane-leak

A spokeswoman told the LA Times that they didn't replace the safety valve simply because the company wasn't required to by law.

So the company simply didn't replace the safety valve, because the profit motive of a corporation means that it has no incentive - no motivation - to protect anyone or anything that it isn't required to protect by law.

And because the company didn't replace the valve, the company estimates that it could be another 3 months before they can plug the well completely.

This is a case where corporate greed and lax regulations have caused a massive disruption in California's energy infrastructure and forced the evacuation of thousands of homes - and it's seriously jeopardized any emissions cuts that California has achieved over the last few years.

And none of it would have happened if we hadn't handed the management of our energy infrastructure over to largely deregulated for-profit corporations that only care about their bottom lines.

A leaking natural gas well is spewing LETHAL LEVELS of naturally-occurring Uranium, Radon and other radioactive materials  into the air around Los Angeles. Parts of the city may be "uninhabitable" for years!

In October, 2015, a gas well began leaking in the Aliso Canyon gas storage field, in the Porter Ranch area of Los Angeles.  Now, it has been revealed that naturally-occurring radiation from ground Uranium, has also been spewing out of that leaking well and so much has come out, that the situation constitutes a "Massive Radiation Emergency."    The photo below shows how severe the well is leaking.

The trouble is that the volume of gas is coming out so forcefully, it has been described as being "like a volcano" and all efforts to shut the leak down have thus far failed.  Sadly, those efforts have only served to "destabilize the well" causing other leaks to begin in other areas of the gas field.  Late last week, officials described the leak as "totally out of control."

RADIATION

According to experts from the International Association for Protection from Ionizing Rays (AIPRI) in France, lethal levels of naturally-occurring radiation are coming out of the well and people will die from that radiation.

The “methane” coming out of the well is usually called Natural Gas. It normally contains “natural radioactive materials” that are made in the inside of exploding stars. They are things like Uranium 238 and Radon which have been here since the planet was formed. They are in the very dirt of the Earth and thus are in natural gas, naturally. You can’t have one without the other.

AIPRI notes the rogue well is spewing huge amounts of Natural Gas and about 1.91 Curie an hour maximum of natural radioactive material in the natural gas. Not much, you think? That is about 45.95 Curies per day. It is a really, really big leak of natural gas and the radiation it always carries.

A Curie is a unit of measure used in the United States to describe very large radioactive releases easily and this is a very big radioactive release.

The French Becquerel is a much more human sized unit of measure for radiation. One Becquerel is one Radioactive Disintegration (Count) per Second. One Curie equals 37 Billion Becquerels or Radioactive Counts per SecondOne point Seven Trillion Becquerels per day spew from the Natural Gas well. That’s a number with a bunch of Zeros – a real Fukushima-class  disaster number, right here in the USA.

From Europe, AIPRI finds:

“In 80 days of viscous and gaseous fumes at a breakneck pace of 1.7 million m3 per day (1115 tons per day at a rate of 46 tons per hour escape from the underground storage), 136 million m3Natural gas dispersed in the air could carry with them having TBq 301.24 (3,01E14 Bq) is 8.14 KCI natural radioactivity for respirable (breathable) emanation of 12.060 Million Sieverts is equivalent 2.41 million potential lethal doses by inhalationaccording to the same dose coefficients from the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP).”

Recently, however, officials in California began to publicly acknowledge that the amount of gas spewing from the well had been dramatically under-estimated.  In fact, officials now admit that THREE TIMES AS MUCH GAS has been leaking as originally thought!

Using the same analysis from the AIPRI and the ICRP but with the newest numbers as to the amount of gas leaking, AIPRI amended their report to say the following:

If the leak, as it is now admitted, is actually 3 times greater i.e. 5.1 million m3 of effluent per day (3346 tons per day), with the same content per meter cube of radon 222 the natural radionuclides contained in the underground gas would skyrocket to 30.75 MBq (3.53 mCi) per second, of 470.69 GBq (12,72 Ci) per hour, 11.30 TBq (305.31 Ci) per day for an excursion in 90 days 1.02 PBq (27,48 KCi) a dispersion of 40.7 million Sieverts representing 8.14 million lethal doses by inhalation.

What it all means is it is time for people in LA and the San Fernando Valley to get out of town. All the homes in the path of the gas leak are now contaminated with radiation.  It is on the roofs, on the sidewalks, the grass, the furniture in the backyards, children's swings, sliding ponds, play toys and sand boxes outside.  It has drifted INSIDE those homes via open windows.  It's on the floor where you walk into the house, on the chairs where you sit (after it fell on your clothes outside as you walked into the house).  It's on your pillows in bed, after radiation got onto your hair outside, and on your bed sheets, from exposed body parts where radiation fell on them outside.  It's everywhere.

KEPT QUIET - DELIBERATELY

Why the public in Los Angeles is not being told this by authorities is simple to understand: They don't want a panic on their hands and, more importantly, they don't want business and industry to be shut down, costing jobs and billions in tax revenues to be lost.

Put simply, it is better for the government to keep you in the dark to collect tax money than it is for them to admit what's happening, have you leave, and thus cut-off their cash from your labor.  The fact that many of you will die is really not important to them.

Don't believe us?  Buy your own little Geiger Counter and take some readings yourself.  Folks in the area where this gas is blowing will see radiation counts exceeding 2,000 counts-per-minute.  In some cases, exceeding that by many times.  Then ask the California Highway Patrol what their criteria is for a "Radiation Emergency?"  They'll tell you "Any reading of 500 Counts-Per-Minute CPM or higher is considered a radiation emergency."  It's been their protocol for years.  Same thing with the LA Fire Department.  Ask them.  They'll tell you.

From Dutchsinse FaceBook:

RADIATION in Los Angeles, coming from Uranium + Radon mixed with the leaking methane at the gas / oil pumping operation in Southern California.

Los Angeles was warned specifically back in April 2015 , at the time the professionals ignored the warning... even going so far as to deny a connection between the earthquakes and the pumping operations around LA.

Here we are in February 2016, not even 1 year later..... as they were warned, now a full blown disaster is underway in the most populated city on the West Coast.

All due to the seismic pressure causing fractures in the storage casements of the high pressure gas, which then causes leaking.

We're seeing the same thing occur (methane leaking) in Southern Colorado, which is showing up on SATELLITE imagery, causing NASA to do studies in Southern Colorado to find out why the methane is leaking there.

Just like in California, the casements in the gas wells are becoming fractured due to seismic events (earthquakes), which then leads to leaking gas (oil and water as well), which causes additional larger earthquakes.... causing ADDITIONAL well fractures.

Like dominoes, the "super fracture" then causes major leaking of gas into the air.

We've seen this occur in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and now in California. Major Methane leakage due to fractured gas wells.

Back when I warned the professionals in California in 2015, their response was to DENY that seismic pressure was building, DENY that the earthquakes would cause any damage to other wells, and DENY that any changes need to be made at the gas / oil fields across California.

Their denial has led to this new methane gas emergency currently occurring VERY close to the earthquake epicenters from last year.

https://news.vice.com/article/this-gas-is-worse-for-the-climate-than-carbon-dioxide-and-its-leaking-all-over-the-place

"Some people have compared it to an oil spill in the sky, and there's some truth to that," Brownstein said. "It speaks to one of the reasons why methane leaks across the oil and gas supply chain have gone unaddressed for so long — because, unlike an oil spill, it's not immediately apparent to the general public that something's amiss."
According to a an EDF-backed study, which was co-authored by 20 researchers from 13 institutions and published last week in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, emissions from Texas's Barnett Shale — one of the largest natural gas fields in the country and responsible for about 7 percent of American natural gas — are 90 percent higher than the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimated.

http://dutchsinse.com/3172016-rotten-egg-smells-showing-up-across-south-los-angeles-coming-from-off-the-coast/

If there are smells of rotten eggs coming in from offshore, then the smell most likely is hydrogen sulfide (magma / tectonic related).

The natural gas + oil operations could have punctured an area in the crust, which then could be releasing the hydrogen sulfide.

Worthy to note that MULTIPLE earthquakes struck California today at oil + gas pumping operations… and the USGS ignored most of them without reporting they even occurred.
