The WHO may have acted fast with Zika and declaring Global Emergency, but both the WHO and CDC are lacking major transparency with it all.  They are without a doubt withholding information, which could be because of the Olympics, or possibly to avoid  a panic, or both.

This is the first I've heard that Zika can cause neurological disorder in adults, which is a fancy term for brain damage.  These implications would mean an infected "could" suffer brain damage.   Officials are sending the message not to worry as symptoms are mild?  Sounds good.  Mild symptoms and possible brain damage. No prob.

More and more info is slowly being linked out.  That's fine because I catch it all like a drain plug.

But Russo says it may take months for researchers to know for sure whether Zika causes microcephaly in infants or a rare neurological syndrome in a small number of healthy adults. For now, he said, average Americans don't need to worry that much about the virus.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has warned pregnant women to avoid travel to at least 24 countries and territories where Zika virus is circulating, including Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The virus usually causes only mild disease, but it has been linked to a serious birth defect in the infants of women who are infected during their pregnancies as well as a rare neurological disorder in adults.

This isn't what I imagined when I prayed for the zombie plague.  Alien overlords breeding us into docile cattle?

Rick!  Help!

Alternatively, does anyone know where the Murphy is?

I had chronic Fatigue Syndrome for six years. I was incapacitated for around two. If Zika brings on similar symptoms, even if its 2% of the infected, it could be quite significant.

zombie like state is close to the truth

I think travelers going towards the affected countries must put on gloves or used something? Or just band traveling towards the Zika issues countries.
