As of 6:28 AM edt -- confirm that there are heavy troops and equipment movements in Europe and in Russia. It seems to be a show of force. The military are not saying anything, but the rumur mill believes that there has been a strike by Russia on American Rebels in Syria overnight, which has led to a war of words.

Russia
Russian warplanes hit Pentagon-backed Syrian fighters with a barrage of airstrikes earlier this week, disregarding several warnings from U.S. commanders in what American military officials called the most provocative act since Moscow’s air campaign in Syria began last year.

The strikes hit a base near the Jordanian border, far from areas where the Russians were previously active, and targeted U.S.-backed forces battling the Islamic State militants.
...
These latest strikes occurred on the other side of the country from the usual Russian operations, around Tanf, a town near where the borders of Jordan, Iraq, and Syria meet.
...
The Russian strike hit a small rebel base for staging forces and equipment in a desolate, unpopulated area near the border. About 180 rebels were there as part of the Pentagon's program to train and equip fighters against Islamic State.

When the first strikes hit, the rebels called a U.S. command center in Qatar, where the Pentagon orchestrates the daily air war against Islamic State.

U.S. jets came and the Russian jets went away. The U.S. jets left to refuel, the Russian jets came back and hit again. Allegedly two U.S. proxy fighters were killed and 18 were wounded.

Earlier today another such attack hit the same target.

This was no accident but a well planned operation and the Russian spokesperson's response makes the intend clear:

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov appeared to confirm the attack Friday, telling reporters it was difficult to distinguish different rebel groups from the air.

Translation: "If you can not separate your forces from al-Qaeda and differentiate and designate exclusively "moderate" zones we can not do so either."

The forces near Tanf are supported by U.S. artillery from Jordan and air power via Iraq. British and Jordan special operations forces are part of the ground component (and probably the majority of the "Syrian" fighters.) There is no al-Qaeda there. The Russians know that well. But they wanted to make the point that it is either separation everywhere or separation nowhere. From now on until the U.S. clearly separates them from AQ all U.S. supported forces will be hit indiscriminately anywhere and anytime. (The Syrian Kurds fighting the Islamic State with U.S. support are for now a different story.)

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

ISIS targets nearly 80 US and NATO bases, Korean spy agency says
DEBKAfile June 20, 2016, 10:51 AM (IDT)

Islamic State has designated 77 US and NATO military facilities around the globe, including US air force bases in South Korea, as targets, the National Intelligence Agency in Seoul said Sunday. The terrorist organization distributed data on the bases to its followers using the Telegram messaging service and urged them to carry out attacks. ISIS was also said to have sent out personal information on people from 21 countries who have been targeted as well.

Basic point of conflict is that the US is still expecting Russia not to bomb Al Nusra because it would be impossible to make a difference between Al Nusra/Al Qaeda "fighters" and US backed "moderate rebels" with training from NATO special forces.

Superstation claims that there may have been another attack on "moderate US backed rebels" in the night from sunday to monday (june 19/20).

Russia is losing patience and trust in the US plans. The US still wants to get rid of Assad (and replace him with a puppet, splitting up Syria; plan B). It seems that Russia now starts to attack all rebels that do not coordinate with Assad and Russia (to stop plan B).

The US troops in Syria pushing with Kurdish fighters towards Raqqa proberbly will slow down. Raqqa is not Kurdish but Sunni-Arabic and the goal of the Syrian government army.

My impression (DJ): Ukraine has made several claims that they want to reclaim the Crimea. US special (SEAL) forces have been training in Bulgaria for assisting in such an operation. NATO is very active all over the border with Russia from Norway, Baltic states, to the Black Sea.

China has made clear it does not accept US navy ships in her South China Sea area without Bejing permission.

The US is under pressure from the Gulfstates, Saudi Arabia, (funding clinton) Qatar, Turkey, to do more in Syria. There may be more "IS terrorist false flag attacks" on their way as an excuse for "stopping Russian aid to IS" (to put it in western mainstream propaganda "news" terms).

This story may be related to a large scale (planned) exercise, misinterpreted by Superstation. Proberbly there have been several attacks inside Syria on US backed "rebels" by Russia. This is something the US can not accept-the question is how and where the US will/can react. The wars in Ukraine, Syria, Lybia, Yemen and even Afghanistan are linked (a.o. by IS showing up in all these places-CIA provides transport ?). Russia is proberbly giving more aid to PKK-Kurdish fighters-inside Turkey.

NATO has stated that a "cyber attack" can be a bases for Art.5-military action. Both Russia, China, several western countries, Israel, Iran are involved in cyber warfare.

We will see if this story develops any further or ends up as another "secret".

Superstation95 did do an update in wich they claim that the US has decided to attack Syrian Arab Army when Russia continues to attack US "rebels" in Syria. (To put it in my own words). https://www.superstation95.com/index.php/world/1504. Russia seems to go on targetting US"rebels" in Syria, according to Superstation the US is pulling back non-essential personel from some Turkish positions.

Russia and the US are moving heavy war-material into position, "spy-planes" in several places 24/7 in the air,  etc.

There may have been another "incident" in the Black Sea with a US navy vessel the last few days.

We are still in DefCon-3 (this site is not official government but from people who are interested in international developments. http://www.defconwarningsystem.com/ If things further escalate they may be on top of it. )

(And this is only about Syria, South China Sea is another crisis. The wars in Ukraine, Syria, Lybia, Yemen are all US-sponsored wars for fossil fuels, the South China Sea-crisis is also about oil and gas. Time to stop using that "explosive material"! In Syria another sarin-gas attack in the suburbs (Ghouta)of Damascus by "rebels". The US claimed that the use of such gas by the Assad regime would mean that the US would intervene. In 2013 Russia stopped further escalation, the gas-attack turned out to be coming from the rebels. Turkey, Saudi Arabia and even clinton had their fingerprints on that gas-attack with sarin from Lybia. Will the US use the latest rebel-gas attack as an excuse for intervention ? Will there be another "IS(CIA) terrorist/false flag" as an excuse ? Or will there be a major incident in Syria, Ukraine, Black Sea ?)

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2016/06/21/isis-assassinates-united-states-officer-near-turkish-military-airbase/

Was that US officer murdered in  Incirlik Air Force Base Turkey last sunday ? Would that explain the def-con-3 ?

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2016/06/21/southfront-syria-iraq-june-21-2016/ Eventhough IS managed to slow down Syrian Army attack near Raqqa the US-led rebels did not profit from that.

If the US is thinking of attacking Assad army positions in Syria in reaction to Russian attacks on US"rebels" the US needs a plan on how to deal with the Russian (and Syrian, Iranian) air defense without escalating into a large conflict.

Missile attacks from Turkey and ships on Russian air defense could mean that Russia would attack the ships and Turkish bases from wich those missiles came.

Syria (=Assad) may close air space for the US led coalition claiming to be attacking IS and ask Russia to defend Syrian air space. The US led coalition is in Syria without the Assad government permission. The "opposition" could start her own government but is very divided and losing ground. If the US starts supporting an IS government in Syria they have something to explain.

A possible outcome of this conflict could be that Syria is in the hands of Assad with strong Russian and Iran influence. The US may play a role in Iraq (and Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan etc.).

Six Jordanian soldiers killed in car bombing near Syrian border
DEBKAfile June 21, 2016, 11:00 AM (IDT)

Six Jordanian soldiers were killed and a number of others were wounded on Tuesday morning when a car bomb blew up next to the Rukban camp housing Syrian refugees on the Jordan-Syria border.

Jordan closes borders with Syria, Iraq amid growing ISIS threat

DEBKAfile June 21, 2016, 7:25 PM (IDT)

Jordan closed its borders with Iraq and Syria on Tuesday and declared them as military areas that civillians are not allowed to enter.
DEBKAfile: The announcement means that refugees from Syria and Iraq will no longer be granted entry. The Jordanian security forces took the step after an emergency meeting of the country's senior security and intelligence officials, headed by King Abdullah, on the car bombing earlier in the day. At least six Jordanian border guards were killed and 14 wounded in the attack by a follower of ISIS at a refugee camp on the Syrian border. DEBKAfile's intelligence and counterterrorism sources said that it was reported during the meeting that the bomb was built in Jordanian territory, and that the terrorist who drove the car was a citizen. In other words, the attack was not from abroad.
Our sources add that the car bombing was the second terrorist attack by ISIS during Ramadan against a Jordanian target, following the assault on the headquarters of the country's intelligence agency in Ain el-Basha two weeks ago in which five intelligence officers were killed.

Superstation gives the Jordan story another twist: https://www.superstation95.com/index.php/world/1508

In a very serious development, the government of Jordan has declared its entire border with Syria to be a "military operations zone" and large numbers of Jordanian and American troops are moving toward the border.  This is the clearest sign yet that a decision has been made by the United States to move against the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, to overthrow him by force.

Over the weekend, Russia was advised of the US decision and Russia explicitly told the United States that "Syria is an ally of Russia.  Russia will defend Syria.  Any entity which attacks Syria will be engaged and destroyed by Russian forces."

The battle lines have been drawn:

The United States and its allies Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others, intend to overthrow the Syrian government by force, AND;

Russia says anyone who tries will be attacked and destroyed.

We are heading straight into a direct military conflict with Russia, over Syria.  This was never debated or approved by the US Congress.   It is completely illegal under International Law.  Yet it appears this is precisely what is going to take place

Flu mom, Obama may not be in control of what is going on. I think a group of other people may decide what will happen the coming days.

According to Debka (Israeli) the IS attackers came from inside Jordan. In this Al Jazera (Qatar) story one could read an excuse to "cross the border and move into Syria" "to fight IS".

IS did sell oil via Turkey to anyone who wanted to buy. A part of it went to Israel, but also French Total did buy oil (indirectly) from IS (november 2015 about the same time IS did attack several places in Paris). New is that a French company did operate in IS held area and paid IS tax. https://southfront.org/french-company-lafarge-paid-taxes-to-isis-in-2013-and-2014/

Main stream media quiet about developments in Jordan. Jordan press: http://www.jordantimes.com/news/local/jordan-will-respond-iron-fist-threats-%E2%80%94-king
