That's pretty cool news about Rishat. I don't like to brag, but although I'm not immune to viruses, I do have the ability to fly. No seriously, it's true. It was around my 18th birthday that I first discovered that I had this ability, when I flew from Florida to Pennsylvania. It was incredible. Since that experience I've flown several other times, sometimes taking my wife along for the ride. In fact, I'm planning on flying over the 4th of July weekend, as long as my reservations don't get cancelled. ;-)

I want to help people in the treatment of influenza. Production of the vaccine will take a few months which in a pandemic can be fatal. And I, in turn, propose the production of vaccines from immunoglobulin. Which will take several days. If you are not interested, let me know. And if you are interested, then come to Almetyevsk

Rishat, I'm not doubting your mental status - all I'm asking is you stop posting the same thing over and over again. We get it, but you've been doing this all over the internet for quite some time now - a search for "Rishat super immunity" shows just how busy you've been.
I'm sure you're sincere, but in the past few days I've deleted maybe 20 of your posts that were nothing more than "Aaaa", Bbbb", or some other random combination of letters. I know some of the other moderators are doing the same, or hiding them. Please respect the other members on this forum and post in a mature manner. That's all we're asking.

Your immune system behaves like the immune system of every other normal healthy person. It is not unusual. It is not exceptional. It is not superhuman. It is not in any way different from mine. There is nothing about it which singles it out as worthy of further study. If the research money were spent on investigationg immune systems like yours, we would lynch the scientists for wasting our tax dollars on fripperies.
All I'm seeing is a guy that just described catching the flu telling me he has super immunity to it. Makes no sense whatsoever. A severe flu virus would kill you as fast as any of us.

Rishat - I'll try to explain this again because we're all getting tired of you posting the same nonsense over and over.
YOU BECAME SICK JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE SO YOU DON'T HAVE SUPER IMMUNITY. Got it?
You had a runny nose, cough and a low grade fever for almost a week. Those are symptoms of a flu-like illness. Not everybody gets a full fever, but you still caught it - just like we all do. You don't have super immunity and never did. Sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but you're not special. Just a regular human being like the other seven billion and change.
Welcome to the club.

Complications, however many, stem from the same root illness. This is almost an inviolate law in medicine. That is profoundly different from 3 separate diseases circulating simultaneously, all of which have mutated toward the same point. The first is an odds on favorite, the latter many trillions to one against. It is not impossible, but less likely than an invasion, at precicely 15.47 next Tuesday, by two separate alien races, who then fight each other.

All types of flu mutate all the time, Med. You are right that is a danger and a worry.
However, luckily for us, most mutations are harmless, though it is just a matter of time before one turns truly nasty. But, it is highly unlikely that all three will mutate catastrophically (from our viewpoint) at the same time.

H1N1 is mutating in India, funny that in the Two most populated countries we seeing flu viruses change before our eyes, not funny really just that the virus has more hosts, more changes to the R.N.A,when the Two collide, h1n1 and h7n9, can't be far away......

Hello there Med, speaking of engineered or lab accident, I'm still baffled with all of the h7n9 cases to date, it still has failed to infect a non- Asian or to spread outside of China with a human case. It also appears to be mutating quite a bit faster than the others we've ever seen. Let's hope the 6th wave next winter isn't the big one, although they do seem to pick up steam with each wave either way, so who knows.

Not good news at all. This bug is definitely rapidly changing. You may have called it JD, on the 100th anniversary since 1918. Of course it probably now also has the capability of mixing much easier with h1n1, for the 1918 replay. Or maybe it will just be a flat h7n9 pandemic, who knows, but this pattern is getting concerning - and now a joint statement to prepare for sustained human transmission?
The transmission is increasing along with the mortality rate. The mutation models vs. ease of transmission apparently were not correct over the years. The 1918 flu also mutated to a more severe form.
I believe the 1918 pandemic flu began in May?
On another note, the worst news is that Tamiflu and anti-virals are going to be useless with this one.
|
They all are mutating Albert. It's not just bird flu, but the new strains of that could go Pandemic. I still think it will be a genetically engineered bug from the U.S., Russia, or even one of the unstables - such as North Korea. Also I think we are headed for a triple play - as in - three Pandemics at once. I had posted years ago that bacteria and viruses can communicate - at least work together. We have seen some very interesting grouping in outbreaks. H5N9 is yet another contestant - but I am still thinking Prions or Henta - all can be genetically engineered and much improved in the worse ways. Med

Rishat - apparently you don't have immunity to the flu because what you described is someone getting sick with the flu. You had a temperature, a cough, runny nose, and your mom was worried about you. All symptoms of the flu. People with immunity don't get any symptoms. You don't have super-immunity, dude.

Rishat, you can't have congenital immunity to any disease that's immunoglobulin based. All of that would be acquired and simply means you have an adaptive immune system like the rest of us.
If it was immunoglobulin based, what makes you think resistance to H1N1 or H3N2 would carry over to H7N9, a very, very different virus? Remember, immunoglobulin is very specific and not promiscuous.
Also, how do you know you had the flu? Was it confirmed by a test kit?

I have congenital and acquired immunity to influenza. I get infected like an ordinary person, but I get sick for 2-4 days or not at all. Age 39 years old male I suggest to make a vaccine against the flu from my blood. But I suggest that the patient make a vaccine from the components of my blood. Namely from an immunoglobulin. Muslim. In the Holy Quran does not say that you can not make a vaccine from the blood of a Muslim in emergency situations. Allah Almighty will allow me to make the vaccine out of my blood. Muslim. 3 times a day I take taharat in cold tap water, and 2 times in icy water from the column, my feet once a day but in warm water, and this is micro hardening. Congenital immunity: I do not suffer from diabetes mellitus, other type of diabetes. I drink a lot of water. IC - Well, someone should get it to the lab, take a sample and run the sequence. Then he will know for sure. If there are antibodies in there - the world, you may need them.
And also who should get it in the laboratory work to take a sample and follow the sequence. Then he will know for sure. If antibodies are available in the world, they may be required. In the opinion of American doctors. HELP me to prove my immunity. I have only 4 years to live, I can die in a few hours. I have a disease of Olivia ponto cerebral degeneration with cerebellar atrophy. One of the manifestations of this disease is not controlled by the saliva, the discharge is due to this constantly pressurized with food intake, and when combined with non-diabetes by the end of the day the saliva becomes tight and I press when I sit quietly. This continues until I take a cure for not diabetes. And I also have a shaky gait and double vision in my eyes. So I can get under the car. But the state of health is constantly deteriorating. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Almetyevsk doctors do not want to conduct home-based research, so I have to conduct them myself. I got sick with the flu: on Saturday the temperature was 37.2, on Sunday 37.3 there were no symptoms, I went to the mosque, on Monday the temperature was 36.6. And on Tuesday the complication of a severe runny nose began, the temperature went 37.3 to the mosque, a strong cough was added to the severe cold on Wednesday, 37 went to the mosque, the rhinitis passed on Thursday, there was only a mild cough. The temperature 37.5 stayed at home, and Friday was fresh as a cucumber. Before the mosque 150 meters on the street the temperature is from 0 to +5 degrees. Mom was scared that I had a flu 5 days with such a small temperature. On Thursday, they went to the hospital and prescribed medication. All charges against me are far-fetched. I only have immunity against the flu. Let me become the last human defense line against the flu

FACTBOX-China bird flu death toll hits 37 in MayJune 12, 2017, 05:15:00 AM EDT By Reuters Shutterstock photo BEIJING, June 12 (Reuters) - China reported another 37 fatalities from H7N9
bird flu in May, the government said on Monday, taking the death toll since
October to at least 268.
China reported as many as 108 deaths from the same virus in the last three
months, spurring further concerns about the spread of the deadly virus,
according to data from the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
The death toll tends to drop towards the end of winter.
Chinese disease control experts warned the public to stay alert for H7N9
avian flu and stay away from live poultry, with the commission saying new cases
of human infection remained at a low level in the last two weeks of May,
according to a statement released on its website earlier this month.
The National Health and Family Planning Commission did not disclose the
location of fatalities or infections.
The H7N9 virus is likely to strike in winter and spring, and farmers have in
the recent years ramped up measures such as cleaning regimes to prevent the
disease. China has confirmed five bird flu outbreaks among poultry this winter,
which has led to the culling of more than 175,000 birds.
China, the world's third-largest producer of broiler chickens and the
second-biggest consumer of poultry, has also closed some live poultry markets
after people and chickens were infected by the avian flu strains.
Here is a table for the poultry and human bird flu cases reported in China,
including the Chinese territories of Hong Kong and Macau:

Rishat, you're a healthy guy. I know many people who only get sick for a few days, as JD pointed out. I'm not one of them. Your intentions are good my friend.
My mother is 75 and has NEVER been sick in her entire life. Not even a cold, ever. Extremely healthy.
Glad you are feeling better, and will let you know when vaccine time arrives, and hope that time never does arrive. :)

You had flu-like symptoms and a low grade fever that persisted for almost a week? That's not super immunity - that's exactly what happens when the rest of us get sick. Sorry Rishat, but you're no different from the rest of us.

Sitting time bomb. Seems like h7n9 will lead to the next pandemic. The question is, when? A year maybe. Who knows. Each winter this one keeps mutating and not many more step until human adaptation, it would seem.
Scary Bird Flu Mutations Could Lead to Worst Pandemic in History
Leading scientists in the field of deadly flu epidemics are worried about what could be the granddaddy of them all, and say it could be right around the corner. They're talking about the bird flu, also known as H7N9. Experts say it could be as bad as, or even more severe, than the worst global pandemic in recorded history. That was the Spanish flu outbreak of 1918, which killed an estimated 40 million people. That flu also originated in birds. Alarms began sounding in the medical research community when scientists observed the bird flu was rapidly mutating and killing chickens in China. That's scary because, until now, when chickens got the bird flu it was so mild, the chickens generally did not die from it. Now, however, the virus is far stronger and deadlier. Not only are chickens dying, they're dying fast, sometimes in just one day, and they're spreading it to other fowl. The bird flu outbreak among chickens is ominous for humans. "It makes us queasy," former global director of the World Health Organization's Influenza Program, Keiji Fukuda, told NPR, "Because it's a very visible way to see these viruses as restless. Some of these changes are dead-end, but some are not. And this genetic mutation is not. It's becoming more lethal for poultry. For people? We're not sure." Oftentimes flu viruses that circulate among animals are passed to people. That's already happening in China with the H7N9 bird flu strain. When people catch the bird flu from chickens, about a third of the humans die. It's already killed nearly 200 people this flu season (September to March). That's more deaths than in any single season since when it was first discovered in humans four years ago. When it comes to containing flu outbreaks, the smartest virologists in the world are stumped by this one. Guan Yi who was instrumental in minimizing the Swine flu and SARS is pessimistic about this aggressive bird flu, mainly because it is changing so fast. "We're trying our best, but we still can't control this virus," He said, "It's too late for us to eradicate it." http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/health/2017/april/Scary-Bird-Flu-Mutations-Could-Lead-to-Worst-Pandemic-in-History
