I got the idea from another website.  Just slice the poundcake into finger pieces and put into a slow oven to dry them out and then package.  Am testing oven temps as we speak...175 is too low and have now upped it to 225.

I cleaned out most of my kitchen cabinets today.  I'm trying to get more organized.  I'm having trees cut down that's close to my house before hurricane season.  Some of the trees are oak which is good for fire wood.  The workers volunteered to cut it up for me.  They even made a space to put it.  They agreed to dig a hole for my porta pottie while they have their back hoe here.  I am very thankful for all of their help.   A  company named ADT will be out to install a burgular alarm tomorrow.
