U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas have discovered four cases of the H1N1 flu strain among illegal immigrant children held at two detention centers in Brownsville in the past two days, National Border Patrol Council Vice President Chris Cabrera told Newsmax on Saturday.

Medical personnel at each of the centers, the Brownsville and Fort Brown Border Patrol stations, confirmed one case each on Friday and Saturday, he said. The minors are 10 to 12 years old.

"Everybody's who been in contact with them now is suspect that they have gotten it," Cabrera said in an interview. "That's what we're dealing with now."

As many as 120 people have been isolated at the two centers after being exposed to the minors, he said. Medical professionals at the detention centers screen illegals for lice, scabies, and chicken pox — but not everyone receives medical clearance, he said.

They are going to be moving a handful of them to Southern California too, I wonder if they'll be moving the sick ones there, as well, prematurely (regardless of medical clearance). I rather not get sick because I try to have as little exposure as possible so when I visit my sister, who is currently on chemo, I do not bring anything with me. I also have immune system issues due to past medicines so it doesn't work out too well for me to get sick either. It sort of sticks with me for a while.

All hepatitises originated from Mexico and further south. As I remember, so did H1N1. Me being from Burbank and my family, 150 years in Hanford as Head Nurse, Fire Chief, Sheriff, Police Chief and Mayor, from what I've learned from them about migrating issues, oh, I wouldn't worry.....

I understand. I'm sorry. My dad is from Corcoran. He's fairly ill too and so I've moved in with him. I'm often times afraid to leave the house so I don't bring back something.

I totally get you there with not wanting to go out a lot. I felt like that at times at school because people would literally cough in my face. I hope your father gets well soon.

My dad's a pretty tough old cookie. Thank you. I've actually been sicker than I've ever been in my life twice now in a month and a half. Both times food. Both times Chineese buffets. (Score one for Kilt2). I was so sick yesterday I hardly went on AFT... Owning one of the worlds largest tattoo operations I know a lot about cross-contaminations. I was one of only four who advised and created Oregons tattoo regulations-toughest in the nation. My point is, there's grossness all around us and most people haven't a clue. Even our mail is contaminated. It's like there's nowhere to hide in this modern world.
