i,m sorry guys..i am behind..what has happened in a few sentences that has everyone going full tilt now..I have just finished a 7 hour drive(with..lol..3 kids in the car)(they where great actually) and well seems all over the flu forums(plural cause I read more then one).
That all kapoo has broke lose..can someone update me through the night..I,ll be back for morning coffee...
Teach me to go on a holiday in the middle of a possible pandemic...

I started a daily overview yesterday and have pledged that I would try to do this everyday. You can read yesterday's under "latest news" and then "2/6/06 Todays Wrap Up".

I will have todays briefing posted around 10pm CST.

Muskrat -- We're thinking (or, more accurately, some of us are thinking) of raising the alert level ourselves to 4. There's been a lot more outbreaks -- Iraq, India. Situation in Iraq is really hard to figure out. More later. -- Libby

News today - It's in Africa.  Hope everybody is getting prepared....will people listen now???  If they don't, they are truly going to be on their own!  This is exactly why I won't feel guilty about sealing off my property.  People in the US are in LaLa Land.  Just as before (and after) 9/11...nothing can touch us.  Sorry, just venting over frustration with people being ignorant.  I know if a hungry child shows up and my door, I don't have the heart to turn them away...but a thinking adult?????  Sorry.
