I know there is already a thread about the 'Spanish Flu' but I found this website to be so interesting and unique that I could resist starting a new thread...

Scroll down and you can listen to people who lived through this dark period. The clips arent very long but things they say have relevence to the debates here about mental health, and what its actually like to expeience such things, though obviously the world has changed quite a lot since then, humans are still the same.

Interesting, and very heartbreaking! I almost cried about 10 different times! It's one thing to read about the pandemic of 1918 in history books, but to hear first hand what people went through, it's really heart wrenching!

Better to be safe than sorry....

spooky... I think this virus would be way worse because so many people rely on medicine and technology these days.

And they naysay; they will not prep to get ready..it won,t happen to them or in their lifetime...
