A secret report distributed by the
Missouri Information Analysis Center lists Ron Paul supporters,
libertarians, people who display bumper stickers, people who own gold,
or even people who fly a U.S. flag and equates them with radical race
hate groups and terrorists. This is merely the latest example in an
alarming trend which confirms that law enforcement across the country
is being trained that American citizens are a dangerous enemy.
A copy of the MIAC report was sent to us by an anonymous Missouri police officer who was concerned by its content.

	There are militia groups in this country that don't obey the laws. As it turns out these groups do the things listed. It was clear from the copy that the police are first looking for specific militia groups and these behaviors can help to find them. I do not think police are looking for all people who own gold, etc, and I hope they are not mistaking all militias for militias that do illegal things. Should it come to that the individual police officer will be the last defense of freedom. Will he obey orders that he knows to be wrong or not?

	I agree with the Dr. I do not believe that police are at this time involved in busting people who have certain bumper stickers alone without other evidence or gold or anything elase that is a ordinary thing. I am concerned about the type of fear mongering that guys like Alex Jones put out there. He has a film on his site showing a man teaching some people and he asks who were the first terrorists, and the answer is the founding fathers. He is right. By deffinition and according to England at the time they sure were. That is the only point this guy is trying to make. He is trying to get these guys to think out of the box. There is a danger in that, of course some officers could begin to think that anyone with a Ron Paul sticker on their car was a potential citizen militia member out to over throw the government. That cop would not be very bright. If I saw a guy who was driving a vehicle with a Ron Paul sticker and a support the second amendment sticker on his bumper, flying the flag upside down at his house, its a pretty safe bet that he is armed and is not happy with what is going on in the country. Those people can be just like me, who believes Ron Paul had some very valid points, who also believes in the constitution and understands the meaning of flying a flag upside down, or they could be a Tim McVey type. Therefore, myself I am going to proceed with caution until I get to know the indiividual. If there was a neighborhood blowout, I will watch them first, because again I know they are armed and if they are not on my side, I need to be able to get the heck out of their way or make sure they do not hurt myself or family. Some of this is just common sense. Law does have to be taught that. Many of the cops may do the same things, or their folks may, but if a cop fails to recognize that there are some folks in that group who could be dangerous then he is not being smart with his own life. We also know that enviromental wackos can be involved with terrorism and they too have been named as a extreme group. You can have folks who have bumper stickers about global warming and are greenies who would never think of fire bombing a SUV or a Hummer, then there are ones who darn well would. In like manner if I had a neighbor who had those stickers I am going to form some opinions and be on my gaurd until I know otherwise. Some of that is just self deffense and common sense. Guys like Alex Jones try to rabel rouse so that everyone is suspicious of everyone else. All FEMA is not evil anymore then all Malitia is evil. Evil is in the heart of men. Not the label they carry or the bumper sticker they display. I hate to throw around a leftist word, but people in this country are getting to the point on both sides where they have zero tolerance anymore. Its all black or all white, zero shades of gray. To me that is when the receipe for violence becomes high. People act like all this is new and never before existited, I think there have been dink cops since the begining of time, even entire towns known for having cops who are arrest happy and power hungry. There have also always been gangs of anacrhists Hells Angels, white Supremicists, black panthers, 1930s gangs and criminals, mafia, government folks gone bad. Most people fall into the middle of that range, unless guys like Alex Jones multiplied by 100 begin to put forth their own propaganda that everyone is out to get everyone else and the whole darn country gets polorized and begins fighting, normally when that goes on the real bad guy is pulling his crap in plain sight and being ignorned for the massive in fighting going on.
