Has anyone tried using solar lawn lites to light their home instead of candles in an emergency?Didnt see any posts covering this option.

I just ran out and grabbed one off the walk-way.....turned out all the lights...WOW it works great! I could read a newspaper! GREAT IDEA, thanks!

It also helps if you place a mirror behind your light source.

Take a walk on the bright-side dude! Yep, had to run outside again. 1 1/2 times brighter than a night light...thanks!

Have also seen solar powered spot lights......I think at Harbor Freight Tools for about $40.00.

I am glad to hear they work well, I had not tried them, but I had picked one up at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and still haven't gotten around to putting it outside and trying it out.
