The flu pandemic of 2009 was 33% Avian flu, 33% porcine (pig) flu and 33% human flu.

For some reason it was called "The Swine Flu" when the protocol is to name the virus after the location where it first emerged.

We had the Asian Flu, and the Hong Kong Flu - so it should have been by rights called "The Mexican Flu".

So what? The Mexicans are a bit sensitive about it?

One clade came from Sidney - the Sydney Flu - another the Fugian H3N2 flu - who cares?

But the Mexicans are a tad sensitive apparently.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
