http://cci-reanalyzer.org/forecasts/#ARC-LEA (The link does not catch the surface winds, but several storms seem to be moving warm air into the Arctic. Also seatemperature will go up, melting further what is left of the sea-ice. Maybe polar-bears can get evacueted ?) From june 4 most of the Arctic is getting above freezing. This must increase Greenland melt and sealevelrise. The "blue-ocean" further global warming escalation, more methane etc. is in progres.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weather/672361/Hottest-summer-in-100-years-UK-weather-forecast-2016-heatwave(from may 22)
For the Arctic region record sea-ice melt is happening. With the melt of sea-ice Greenlands landice may get pushed into the ocean. https://robertscribbler.com/2016/06/03/siberian-heatwave-wrecks-sea-ice-as-greenland-high-settles-in/ The warming of the Arctic-ocean means the jetstream is totally disrupted bringing "rivers from the sky" to places like Texas, Germany, France, Benelux, Bejing etc. while other regions get extreme drought and killing hot temperatures for long periods. India and Pakistan have, in some regions, over 50C/120F for weeks. |
