H1N1: Virus has killed 1,775 people this year in Brazil, according to ministry

Deaths were recorded until the 13th of August.
In 2009 pandemic caused 2,060 deaths over the entire year.

The most affected state was São Paulo, which had 737 deaths from H1N1, followed by Paraná, with 206 deaths and Rio Grande do Sul, with 182 deaths.
