I've listened to many people talk about hyperinflation as well as deflation. It seems that we'll have a deflationary collapse followed by hyperinflation and shortages, possibly very severe shortages of everything that is imported.

John Williams of Shadowstats has been measuring unemployment and other things the way the government used to measure them before our presidents got involved. The presidents were able to get their people to falsify the numbers to make themselves look better for re-election or posterity.

Here's John Williams' latest on the subject of hyperinflation.

Assuming that we have hyperinflation would you still be able to get the car parts that are made in Japan or elsewhere? Could you afford them?

Some prepping ideas to consider prior to collapse or hyperinflation are to buy common car parts like a fuel pump, an alternator, wiper blades plus some clothing, shoes, OTC drugs, or whatever else you might need if this comes to pass.
