At least your airports are screening for it. NZ has only announced this morning that it'll screen at Auckland and Christchurch airports. What about the other airports?
Whenever I fly into the UK I always fly into a small regional airport from Europe where immigration is a man with a clipboard. There are plenty of ways into countries avoiding the main hubs. Frankly if I were in China and even suspected I might have come into contact with it, I'd hotfoot it to a European country will no or very few cases where I could be sure I'd get first rate medical treatment. I wouldn't hang around in China where they are overwhelmed and running out of supplies. Now is that selfish behaviour or enlightened self preservation? |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.
