Don't get "Bird Flu Blind", plan for the worst because none of the other bad things will be on vacation if we have a pandemic! Planning a local and remote fall backs with as much fore thought to transportation under adverse conditions as possible. I live in Southern California, what if an earthquake or wild fire happens a month after the flu hits? What if my house burns down from other causes? You live in Florida and a month after flu hits a big hurricane shows up headed for you? Flu will reduce available support and make any movement very hard if it's needed, planning ahead in this area will give you an edge, maybe a life saving edge. If you're here you already see the abyss, now you have to really study it, look for the true worst case and plan for it. Edited by corky52 |
