The Grocery Game - GREAT SITE!!

 

I ran a search and did see a few people mention this website, but I want to post it again for all of the new members ~

 

thegrocerygame.com is a website that compiles lists of sale items at your local grocery stores, and then combines that information with coupons that are available in your area, to give you the absolute best price on items that are great for stockpiling (or even everyday shopping).

 

By combining in-store sales with coupons, you can even get items for FREE. Every week, there are at least 25-30 items in my area (central Maryland) that are 75% off or more.

 

For example, this week I can get 12oz boxes of pasta for only $.25, or boxes of cereal for only $.88. This helps with prepping but also with everyday shopping too!

 

They have lists for all major grocery chains, as well as CVS and Walgreens.

 

It is a membership site, but you can try it for 4 weeks for only $1.00. Then it is only $10.00 for 8 weeks for one store, then $5.00 for 8 weeks for an additional store. Our membership paid for itself for a year in the first two weeks of savings!

 

They have a message board you can check out too - there are members on there who get so many products for FREE that they are re-selling them at garage sales!! Of course, I think the members on this site will just keep them in the basement to give away to all the non-preppers who may come knocking on their door...
