how worried is the state of Maine

if a state employed health care worker

shows up at her house,and goes inside and

has no protective gear,no gloves ,no mask ,no nothin'


and her bike ride poses no threat to anyone

well maybe if she comes across a stray dog.....

If the Ebola  potentiality of spreading quickly  in  the U.S. ( I hope not ) comes to pass, then these legal issues will  most  likely  never make it to the Court's dockets.

I hope she has it.

I do have a good reason.

If she is negative, this could appear to "prove her right".  This would give her self publication a big boost.  This would make the application of future quarrantine very difficult.  Ultimately it could kill hundreds or even thousands.  It could also cause a nasty economic downturn.  That usually kills a few as well.

If she is positive, this could put the "fear of God" into everyone.  This would enable TPTB to charge her with "Reckless endangerment" and use her as an example of what-not-to-do.   Ultimately this could save hundreds or even thousands of lives. 

I wish her no ill personally.  If she is positive I hope she recovers quickly, comfortably and without any lasting ill-effects, but one person's illness could save many lives.

She has definitely become the Villain of the Ebola outbreak.   After what we've seen with all this and the ebola outbreak, I'll put my money on that they were very slow to notify the WHO in the initial stage of the outbreak, if they even did notify them whatsoever.   Remember, telling the truth is not a value that they seem to exercise.  They may not even like the WHO. 

521 heathcare workers have contracted Ebola, and only a few of them have been MSF workers.  The MSF folk are training the W. Africa docs on what to do, and that's about it, and it's a bloodbath for them.   Very doubtful they're doing much hands on treatment.  

Not to say that everyone in the organization lies just based on Hickox and Spencer, but there could be another reason for this crazy explosion of cases.   There's one group that's responsible for providing the numbers and "counts", which is MSF.   Probably why the WHO says cases are 3 times higher. 

MSF’s West Africa Ebola response started in March 2014 and now counts activities in three countries: Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. MSF currently employs 270 international and around 3,018 locally hired staff in the region.

MSF has made a killing off the donations.  The majority of the donations you see are going to them.  Millions.  They should pay their peeps better.

I agree with everything you said Techno.  But I think she will be negative.  It took Spencer a week to show a fever but he felt fatigued sooner than that.  I think if she was infected she would be sick by now.  And that's a shame.  It's a shame because the next HCW will be positive & we will have "lost" our right to protect communities. 
 
What her fans need to understand, and by fans I mean even the President... it is not just about Kaci being sick.  It's about the potential for her to be sick... and what to do with every man & woman & child that is coming from that area & their potential to be sick.  There has to be a precedence set here & a strict protocol put into place.  You can't just have people coming from the death zone & walking around willy nilly.  It makes no sense what so ever.
 
If our leaders had not been so weak when things first started heating up... if the mandatory 21 days had already been in place & worked the kinks out... she probably still would have thrown a fit but would never have seen any air time.
 
My kids know not to even try to negotiate past hard rules in our home.  They don't even try it because there is no lee way.  On some things... it just is what it is.
