HYDERABAD: On Monday, a Nigerian was admitted into the city’s Gandhi Hospital on possible suspicion of Ebola infection. He is currently under observation for possible signs of Ebola.

The collected blood samples from the patient would be sent to the national capital where confirmatory tests will be conducted.

The admitted patient was immediately shifted to the Ebola special ward. Doctors said that the patient will be under confined observation and that all the prescribed guidelines laid down are being followed.

Thanks, Kay!  Having just returned from India, I can tell you that the country is justifiably terrified of Ebola gaining a foothold down there.

I think there may have been some Nicaraguans misdiagnosed with dengue fever who may have had ebola. Lots of small pieces of info have kept that on my radar lately. Only time will tell.
