comment: News about the Russian presence in the Ukraine and the possibility of an invasion spreading to Europe has been very fragmented and off the mainstream media. It is not over. According to Ukrainian intelligence, this is the largest concentration of Russian forces on the border with Ukraine and “hybrid” forces in Donbas since the beginning of the conflict. What can this fact mean, in your opinion? released 7 August 2015, Friday, 19:50 |

The Ukraine Intelligence is not very "reliable", part of a propagandawar. This war is over the natural resources in the Ukraine, just like the wars in Libya, Iraq, Syria. If "the west"NATO, George Soros, sons of Biden, Kerry, Royal Dutch Shell, do not "liberate" the oil and gas, Gazprom or the Chinese will. Since Iran saw its relative isolation lifted it too can start exporting energy to the west bringing energy-prices even lower.
A war is very expensive. Russia is not going for an "open war"but most likely will allow "humanitarian aid" and "family members" helping each other. As a legacy from the Soviet (and before that the Czar's, Ukraine was part of Russia before the Russian Revolutions of 1917) era Russians did spread over the Russian/Soviet Empire. (Lenin, just like Wilson first had a policy of self-determination for nations. Finland and Poland gained independence after 1917. Eventhough in the Russian civil war (1917-1923) Polish nationalists tried to push the borders far into the Ukraine. Before Ukraine-under the Czars-became part of Russia it was part of the Ottoman/Turkish Empire, the Ukrain language is related to Turkish, Krim Tartars are a reminder of that era). Both the west EU (Minsk agreement and already overcrowded with refugees from the Middle East and Africa) against US (giving military support to the corrupt Kiev regime, pushing also Georgia towards NATO. Afghanistan is also a NATO-war with Pakistan a much needed partner eventhough Pakistan Intel ISI is supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan) and Kiev (Nazi's football hooligans want more power, the present regime depends fully on the IMF (wich is giving to Kiev wath it gets from Greece), and oligarchs like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ihor_Kolomoyskyi want power and money. The US is running out of finance for further wars. Russia, China and Iran have become a major powerblock. Russia is not interested in escalating the Ukraine-war, Kiev is. Putin is the democratic elected "dictator"of Russia. He is a 5% share holder in Gazprom (The Dutch royals are proberbly 25% owner of Royal Dutch Shell, family members of Biden, Kerry, the Bush family (wich with Henry Ford paid for Hitler's raise to power-also with Shell https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_Deterding). Putin played a major role in the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Chechen_War. In my idea Russia is ruled by the former KGB. (Buth supported by the Russian Orthodox Church).

The pattern here is an expansion of Russia to its size before it lost many countries in Europe including East Germany. As for all out war, the mobilization and presence of thousands of Russian troops on the border as well as active deployment of tanks and other fighters inside the Ukraine is more than a propaganda exercise. The fact that the Western powers did not take a more aggressive stance does not mean there will never be an all out military confrontation in Eastern Europe. It just will develop over time and will be (as with China and its grabbing of more and more territory) a problem in the future. If the new leadership in the U.S., i.e. President - and those in power in our Defense policy step up to the plate and actually do something, things may change. Foreign policy around the globe has been characteristically weak throughout the last 8 years with no appreciative gains including the recent Iran treaty which lacks the bite to stop the development of nuclear weapons in Iran. http://www.nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/russia-threatens-deploy-nuclear-weapons-crimea-13013 Any activity or even signals from Russia on the mere possibility of deploying nuclear weapons in Crimea will be considered the gravest breach in all international norms. In this case, the international community will need to react most decisively. Medclinician imho Medclinician |

Medi you are so blind.
The Ukraine was invaded by western forces. The pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovich was overthrown. The west then went and installed a puppet government made up of the main opposition party, plus a group of Neo Nazi's. They then went about crushing any resistance. You can google Nazi and Ukraine. i'm sure this will shed some light This will playout the west can't hold the Ukraine. They are too Russian. Its on Russias border.. To say Russia wants to invade Europe is propaganda. Again i call you out as a shill
