Keep in mind, we still have a small time frame to make an attempt to keep Zika out of the U.S. & other various countries, and to keep Zika out of the mosquito population.  As we know, it will soon get into mosquitoes once a mosquito bites an infected person with Zika, and apparently it can remain in someones blood for quite awhile.  This event will soon take place.  With travel restrictions we could possibly avoid this from happening and prevent Zika from coming into some countries, along with applying airport screens.  So we can actually take some measures now to keep it out of the country, and there is a chance to do that.  This of course would save lives, and the lives of babies who will soon develop microcephaly, and potential brain and nerve damage in adults.

The problem is that flight restrictions will hurt certain Central and South American countries.  But do we really care that much about their financial well being to risk the health of our own people?   The WHO is dead against travel restrictions and hurting an economy.

So should we make an attempt now to keep it from spreading into other countries and into their mosquitoes?   Spring is coming up and this will be the only chance, as once it's in a country there will be no way to stop it for potentially years.  Will we say down the road, "flight restrictions could have prevented this?"

Any thought on flight restrictions and making an attempt to keep Zika from spreading?  And maybe airport screens?

Albert good luck with that, The dragon kings want this spreading, I believe the worst is yet to come, as previously stated right before zika exploded onto mainstream media, I said "this fells like a re-run of the Aids epidemic of the 1980s."

People used to say "I have HIV and I feel just fine"

Now we have Zika apparently contaminating the US blood bank and the CDC going to level 1, things are playing out just as I feared they would.

Hard to believe we're willing to allow it here and do absolutely nothing to stop it.   With Ebola it was a crap shoot if there would be imported cases, and it was well known it would be contained.  This is a 100% certainty it will get into the mosquito population and spread, and ruin numerous lives and families.   Disappointing we're going to allow this and do nothing.   The WHO and CDC will avoid flight restrictions at all costs for the damn Olympics, when the economics of these countries should be none of their concern. Simply, they need to butt out that and stick to their jobs.  A day after the games are over people won't even give the Olympics a thought.  Meanwhile we will be fighting this for years with countless families ruined.

A big mistake is about to take place.  Don't think we won't be throwing in their face down the road.

They say the fight is with the mosquitoes. Well, let's fight them then and keep them out.
