MERS keeps going on, but it doesn't look like it is breaking out of the region yet.  Now with a number of years and it not spreading to all the millions of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia I wonder how much I should worry about this as I don't keep camels or drink their milk.

Between 27 September and 31 October 2017, the National IHR Focal Point of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reported 12 additional cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection, including two deaths. Additionally, one death from a previously reported case was reported to WHO.   http://www.who.int/csr/don/7-november-2017-mers-saudi-arabia/en/

On 1 November, the International Health Regulations (2005) national focal point of Oman reported one case of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection. Prior to this case, the most recent case of MERS-CoV from Oman was reported on 30 August 2017. http://www.who.int/csr/don/10-november-2017-mers-oman/en/

Viruses are nasty surprising little bu****s.  They can suddenly do unexpected things.  So, it is probably wise to keep a lookout.  But, the time to actually worry is gone; watchful - yes, worried - no.
How do you tell if a politician is lying?
His lips or pen are moving.
