Panasonic has a line of cheap microwaves that use internal inverters to allow them to be run from the "modified sinewave" that most of the less expensive power inverters put out.  I just installed one in my MH and found that where the old unit wasn't nearly as efficent on the inverter as it was on shore power, the new Panasonic works the same on both power sources.  Panasonics with "Inverter" as part of the model or name have this technology.   This technology will make these microwaves less problems with unstable and brownout power.  Should be in the $100 price range.
