I was thinking about NBC today. I recently watched the piece that Brian Williams did on the Katrina tragedy. It really moved me. He was very sensitive with reporting the subject and did an outstanding job relating his eye witness account to the public. He spoke of a shift in the role of a reporter to that of a "witness." He was aware of the power his words had on our nation's leaders. He chose them prudently.

I think it would be very nice to see Brian Williams report on Pandemic Influenza again-- a one hour special would be simply awesome. His reporting on the Katrina story has left a lasting impression on my role as a human being.

Argyll.
