Over the years I have posted on this topic as well as written about it.  Ever since I worked at Lockheed Missiles and Space in 1966 and was aware of how quickly it could all end, life has not been the same for me.

In fact, as I ran Secret Library document control, and finally had to get clearance to read things to be able to get them to various important people from the Navy, I had to quit for several months as I could not deal with what I knew.

40 minutes to destroy most of the world - and that was if it from a missile launch not from a submarine parked just outside the limit from near San Francisco. - then it was more like 4 minutes.  There would be no time for the president to do anything but counter-launch after S.F. - L.A. - N.Y. and many major cities were toast.

The reality is - whatever political flavor you wanted in the U.S. - either candidates was likely to get us into World War 3.

It is a little late to draw a line in the sand after financing Iran with billions of dollars of our tax money to fine tune their missile delivery system.

970 miles

Distance from Tehran to Jerusalem

The newest missile just tested can deliver nuclear warheads beyond 2,000 kilometers (1242.75 miles minimum)  putting Jerusalem directly in the site of a nuclear capable Iran.
