I received this e-mail this morning from a company thru which I have purchased Tamiflu. It inspired me to place a second order. Does anyone have reports of other suppliers taking similar action? *********************************************** Dear Valued Canadian Drug Delivery Customer, |

Doesnt this place require a prescription? Where the hell are all you people getting prescriptions for this stuff? My wife asked our Dr and it's just tough "cookies". I've seen one or two places online that dont require a script and COULD be legit but I cant afford to pay $300 for one course of the stuff. I have 4 people in the family and dont want the added risk of the place being a rip off |

I'm not afraid, I'm paranoid. Dont talk too loud, they are listening.

Alot of the sites I have seen selling Tamiflu have charged at LEAST
$200 for a 10 day supply. To get some for an average family of 4 would
be well over $800 once you figure in shipping! Plus, I thought I heard
somewhere that more than just 10 days of the drug is needed, is this
incorrect?
Im just afraid to invest valuable prep money on something that is not guaranteed to work. Many fear that the flu will develop resistance to the drug. At $200 (online) a pop, that is a awful lot of water and food that can be purchased!!! |

No prescription needed. They delivered the product in about 4 weeks the last time I ordered. It did cost about $200. I will be giving both doses to my wife, who seems to be suceptible to upper respiratory infections, and trusting my sturdy midwestern heritage to see me through, plus a bit of luck. I do feel for those with large households, for whom the price of an adequate supply would be prohibitive. Edited by bruss01 |

Tired, Go to Rosche's site and look up tamiflu & the guidance given. There is a lower age limit, but it's pretty low, maybe around two IIRC. BUT, at this late date I would be VERY concerned about receiving authentic product. TRY to get it via a local doctor first before laying out what is a rather significant sum of money. Although I would have an easy time justifying the expenditure it might just be for capsules filled with baking soda (or whatever). When this kind of money can be made you can be sure that there are lots of jackbutts out there taking advantage of our desperation. |

BTW: That 10 days is a prophylactic dose NOT a treatment dose. Treatment dose is a MINIMUM of 2 caps per day...that's 5 days for the standard 10 capsule pack. I won't even re-state the depressing thought of experts on dosage level and length. |
