I bumped into this great product on line.  It is 3M window security film.  Google this & find the on-line demo.  We're having it installed on all of our walk out basement windows.  There are 4 windows & 1 patio door.  It is costing us just under $500. and will be worth great piece of mind knowing that it will be extremely difficult if not impossible for someone to break in.  Security windows are way more expensive than having this film put on.
