Doctors say the symptoms of the virus include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fever. The virus lasts 24 to 48 hours.
"Keep pushing water," Dr. Bill Dixon at SIU Center for Family Medicine http://www.wgem.com/story/38604154/2018/07/09/local-doctors-warn-against-extremely-contagious-stomach-virus" rel="nofollow - told
WGEM. "Keep pushing fluids. It's the dehydration that's going to get
folks in trouble. If you can keep from getting severely dehydrated,
typically it'll fix itself."
To prevent the virus from spreading, Dr. Dixon recommends washing your hands frequently.
