An American hero for certain, he was also one of mine, personally.
Although there were things which he did that I would not agree with, I have rarely been priviliged enough to see anyone as brave, patriotic and true to his ideals.
America became a poorer country on Saturday. I think the whole world became a little bit poorer too.

Well said, thank you! I agree....I voted for him for President twice (once in the primary vs. George W. Bush, and once against Obama).
He would have been an outstanding President, and we are fortunate to have had his leadership these past years.
