Awesome company! I have bought much of my freeze dried food from them.  Their prices are great shipping is fast and they truely sell the real thing!  They are a Mormon company in Utah.  I am not Mormon but I know they know how to stock up properly.  Check them out they currently have most items in stock, in November nothing was in stock! Hurry before its too late!!!

Want to know what is scary...Walton Feed is 10-12 weeks out for delivery!
I called and asked!

Wow, what does that tell you...some people are preparing and that is good news!

FluMom - is that on everything? Three months - that's amazing. I've bought stuff from Walton Feed before and I don't remember a particularly long wait time. You're right though - that has to tell you something about the way people are feeling these days. Probably not BF, but the state of the economy, rising prices, a possible market crash in the near future, food production taking a hit, etc, etc... It's a big list and denial will only keep you feeling safe and secure for so long.

Here's one for the list. Good company and very nice to deal with,

Yes everything... I believe that people are putting in lots of dry food. That is good less people for the government to worry about in an emergency.

If you buy mountain house food the cheapest place I have found is vitacost.com  unless someplace is having a really good sale.

I've noticed that Costco has started carrying emergency and dehydrated/freeze-dried foods. Right now, Costco.com has an
emergency food kit consisting of 275 vegetarian meals (dehydrated) for $74.99. I bought this kit last April and tried a few of the disches. They're pretty good. On Costco.com you can just type in "emergency food" and several different types will come up.
