Stavropol, at about the same latitude, is also an interesting area when considering the Ob River flyway hypothesis, because latitudinally, it looms directly over eastern Turkey and is about 300 miles form Lake Urmia in Armenia, which was implicated at Acarology as being evidence in the Iraqi AI outbreak.
