I've read a couple of topics about the disinfectant Virkon and how it is much better than bleach to kill the bird flu virus but I can't find any site that actually sells this? Does anyone know where I can purchase some of this disinfectant?

I think and feel that bleach would be your better buy for its versatility. I'm familiar with using anti-viral cleansing agents in a medical and health setting and while they may be very effective, you have to take into account the impact it would have on you. I.E. is this a caustic agent that you have to wear gloves and mask and goggles to use? How long do the particals remain in the air if you spray it? Is the vapor toxic? Plus you have the dual ability with bleach to dis-infect not only surfaces but water. Just my opinion. Meewee ------------- God Bless us all! |
