Five wards at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey remain shut following an outbreak of norovirus .

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust has confirmed there are currently patients with the stomach bug on the Cherry, Cedar, Swan, Holly and Acute Medical Unit wards.

The wards are closed to new admissions until "free of the virus", the trust added.

East Surrey Hospital has also confirmed an outbreak , while Frimley Park Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospital are currently free of the bug .
