In going thru some of my vet supplies, I noticed a product I use may have some interest with this crowd.  It is called "Tek-Trol" and is a liquid disinfectant concentrate.  1 gallon makes 256 gallons of sprayable solution.

I think I pay $25 or so at the vet.  I use it to spray down calf stalls between batches of new calves to limit the spread of scours and pneumonia to the next batch ( or so the theory goes - it seems every batch of 20 I bring in has at least a couple that I have to treat for some ailment or another....)

Tek-Trol is "Staphylocidal, pseudomonacidal, salmonellacidal, aspergillocidal, tubercullocidal, virucidal, fungicidal, parvocidal, mildewcidal, deodorant".  Not bad for one bottle!

The TEK-TROL® high foaming detergent system has been formulated to provide heavy duty cleaning, wetting and penetration of soils and organic matter and easy rinsing of surfaces. Clinging foam is obtained at ½ oz. per gallon of water (1:256) to provide prolonged contact time.

All of those ingredients are just alcohols.  Unless you are going to spray your entire household over a long period of time, rubbing alcohol should work just as well.
The only way to grow is to take a chance.
