Did the Other Shoe Just Drop? Black Rock and PIMCO Sue Banks for $250 Billion

http://www.blacklistednews.com/Did_the_Other_Shoe_Just_Drop%3F_Black_Rock_and_PIMCO_Sue_Banks_for_%24250_Billion/36669/0/38/38/Y/M.html

if successful

will this bring down the big banks ?

will the government let that happen?

or will they be rescued Cyprus style?

They’re Coming for Your Accounts

http://www.freemansperspective.com/theyre-coming-for-your-accounts/

And, of course, they’ve already had a trial run, when they stole funds directly from individual bank accounts in Cyprus, just last year. Here’s how that went down:
March 16, 2013: Cyprus announces a bank holiday and sets the terms of a “bail-in” to save the banks: 6.75% of all bank balances under €100,000 and 9.9% of balances larger than €100,000 will be confiscated. In honest language, the word for that is “theft.”
People screamed, and the government hemmed and hawed for a number of days.
March 24, 2013: People are permitted to withdraw €100 at a time from their bank accounts.
March 25, 2013: A bail-in deal is announced. Accounts with over €100,000 lose either 40% of their money (Bank of Cyprus) or 60% of their money (Laiki bank).

And, as it happened, a number of very rich people and companies were permitted to withdraw their money in full, regardless of the “bail-in.”

I really believe that the FDIC limit was raised from $100,000 to $250,000 to entice people to leave more money in their accounts just so the government can come in and steal a percentage of what they have above $100,000.

This crap could never happen in America without a Revolution.

Oh but wait. They've been doing it ever since that Kenyan dude took over.

...They already had the Revolution.

There is a crash coming - and then a Depression

It has been delayed but not denied.

the crash is here and has been for quite some time

at least if you are in the middle class

some refer to it as "the long emergency"

pay stagnant and now actually declining

no more defined benefit pension plan (unless you work for the government)

serious increases in the price of food and health care (your paycheck doesn't even begin to catch up)

etc etc etc

a continuing decline in the standard of living

until you wake up one day and realize your now a member of the working poor

  1. Stock Market Bubble: These 2 Charts Should Scare You

Motley Fool-by John Maxfield-14 hours ago
First, the two former peaks were associated with the irrational exuberance pervading the Dot-com and housing bubbles in 1999 and 2007, respectively.

The U.S. Plans To Bail-In The Banks – Federal Reserve Vice Chairman

https://smaulgld.com/u-s-plans-to-bail-in-the-banks/

"Under the proposed bail-in scenario, the faiure of a “sytematically important bank” (a.k.a. “too big to fail”) will receive no government funding to stay afloat. In order to keep their casino doors open, a too big to fail bank will just call on their loyal depositors to help out by taking whatever percentage of the depositors’ money they need to stabilize the bank."

Thanks, JD!

I was meeting with a bunch of federal folks yesterday, and I was told by one of the MDs in the group that the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus source may have been determined.  Here's a great article on the subject:  http://phenomena.nationalgeographic.com/2015/10/08/source-pedv/

How diseases cross borders can be a dark mystery. It’s never been clear, for instance, just how West Nile virus arrived in the United States in 1999. Researchers think they know why clusters of malaria cases occur around international airports, but no one has proved the hypothesis by catching an infected mosquito as it flies out of a plane’s cargo compartment.

So when piglets started dying in droves in the summer of 2013, from a rapidly spreading disease called porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDv) that had never been seen in the United States before, animal health experts were baffled.

In a frantic search for the source, epidemiologists investigated whether the pathogen had escaped from a laboratory, or been carried by migrating birds, or lurked in frozen semen taken from hogs in other countries. Was pig feed contaminated? Were feral swine carrying it?

The virus was closely related to one found in China, and many of the ingredients in pig feed come from there. But the Chinese meat firm Shanghui was in the midst of buying Smithfield Foods; had a businessman unknowingly carried it around the world?
