Just in case you think there is no danger of a Depression.
China will go like Europe and Europe is almost in Depression now. This could plunge us into a new depressionYet there's another nightmare haunting Europe's economic policy makers: a monster called deflation that's already clawing at the continent's ... |

Shhh.🙊dont tell TTV:
Here a bubble, there a bubble: Ol' Marc Faber Matthew J. Belvedere | @Matt_Belvedere 11 Hours Ago Even after the Dow and the S&P 500 closed at new all-time highs, closely followed contrarian Marc Faber keeps sounding the alarm. "We have a bubble in everything, everywhere," the publisher of The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report told CNBC's "Squawk Box" on Friday. Faber has long argued that the Federal Reserve's massive asset purchasing programs and near-zero interest rates have inflated stock prices. We have a very serious bubble in the stock market and it will pop, the only question is when. If you're still in then you are part of the "sucker's rally". Once this pops you'll be sorry.
Look at the Dow Jones composite index, but click on the "max" tab just beneath the chart. http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5EDJA+Interactive#symbol=%5EDJA;range=5y Now look at the S&P composite chart. (make sure to click on the max tab) http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5EGSPC+Interactive#symbol=%5EGSPC;range=my Russell 2000 composite http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5ERUT+Interactive#symbol=%5ERUT;range=my Nasdaq composite http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%5EIXIC+Interactive#symbol=%5EIXIC;range=my After looking at all 4 of these charts you should notice a big problem. In each case look at what the previous 2 bubbles fell to and ask yourself if you would be happy losing half or more of your money over night while you had to wait for it to go back up again. Yes, the FED has caused great inflation in the market, but we've never been higher and both prior bubbles POPPED! |

Housing is one of the three pillars of the Australian economy, along with financial institutions and natural resources. Politicians and investors alike, David writes, don't get "how deeply intertwined and connected" these sectors are and "how they can easily take each other down in a domino effect." The most obvious trigger would be a Chinese crash that simultaneously hits bankers, miners and households hard.

One of my associates is a top-level real estate executive in the Chicago region. We spoke about Chinese real estate at some length, and he is moving over there soon. He's lining up Chinese investors for bargain-priced US real estate. The Chinese have fists full of money & no place attractive to sink it, so my friend has 'em running. Death star?? Chinese cash machine is more like it. I suggested that we try to sell them Detroit, Michigan and he thought it was a great idea! 10% of the incoming freshman students at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign are from China. No shortage of cash in those parts from what I can see. |

Its a bubble and all bubbles burst
The China Bubble is bursting now as we speak like Ireland, Spain, Greece and the US of A. Fools and their money are lucky to get together in the first place. Seen all this before in Japan in 1989. Asian shares skid on expectations of weak China PMI dataThe flash manufacturing PMI reading of China, which is due on Tuesday, is expected to come in below the 50 level, providing enough evidence ... |

On a realistic ranking of world economies likely to crash, Chin isn't and won't be at the top.
Kilt hates China on a more broad based level however. |

It is crashing now. I don't hate countries. China owns so much of the US debt its a disaster already - and if or when they want their money back they will ruin the US |

Here ya go, Kilt2! One big Chinese Death Star, comin' up!
A "poisonous combination" of low economic growth and high debt could catapult the world into its next crisis, led by China and the "fragile eight" countries, warned a report by senior economists on Monday. This year's Geneva Report, whose authors include ex-Federal Reserve economist Vincent Reinhart, said global debt levels were still rising, particularly in developing countries. "Contrary to widely held beliefs, the world has not yet begun to delever and the global debt-to-GDP is still growing, breaking new highs. At the same time, in a poisonous combination, world growth and inflation are also lower than previously expected," Reinhart and colleagues wrote in the 16th annual Geneva Report. |

http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/countingthecost/2015/07/china-stock-market-meltdown-150712120851651.html
China could be heading towards the biggest financial disaster since the 1929 Wall Street crash after shares on its stock markets nosedived, dropping by around 30 percent in less than a month.
More than $3.2 trillion has been wiped out in three weeks - an amount more than 10 times the size of the entire Greek economy. The Chinese government has been scrambling to avert a crisis and has issued an emergency response to keep the flagging economy going. (where's Kilt been through all of this? Be safe, Chuck!) |
