this is on Yahoo

Is it dangerous? What should you do if this happens? What should you do differently the next time when prepping for a colonoscopy?

I was really scared when this happened. I took sodium phosphate and enemas -- I think they prescribed too much stuff for me. I'm not underweight, but my teeth were ******tering and I was shivering. Thanks!

Shaking and shivering is also called rigors... it is how the body works to get your temperature up quickly to fight off infection.

This is a good sight for health/medical questions.
