The only problem with killing the beast is that another one will take its place. Socialism will work us to death feeding the lazy. The Christian taliban will set up a gallows outside every church. We are screwed. Ron Paul-2012

Wake the hell up Mahshadin, Jesus Christ on the cross. You're smarter than this. By any stretch of the imagination Zer0 has been a complete and total disaster of epic proportions. He makes even G.W. look like a God damn saint. Everything the absolute bungling idiot touches turns to sh!t, and don't let that nitwit talk without his teleprompter! The Media might have to start covering up again. "Herp Derp, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket under my programs... derp" "Herp, We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded! Derp!" The cash for clunkers program directly pounded the hell out of the poor. Did they take those cars that were sold to the CfC program, tune them up and resell them? Hell no! They CRUSHED THE DAMN THINGS! Naturally used cars and parts prices went up and who does that affect most? Now that gas is going up because of his abysmal foreign policy, referred to as "Amateur Hour," does he authorize domestic drilling so we don't have to rely and screw around with extremist Muslim nations? Hell no! Does he allow a damn pipeline from our neighbors to the North which would have absolutely curbed prices at the pump literally overnight? Of course not! That's crazy talk. The only, and I mean *ONLY* areas that I happen to agree he's done right is with not trying to screw with Roe v. Wade and funding stem cell research. But all he had to do to do those things was stay the hell out of the way. If you took the time to turn off your Democrat colored glasses and look at things from an objective standpoint, you'd be right there with me saying that he's a disaster JUST LIKE THE PRESIDENT BEFORE HIM that he's EMULATING!
Exactly. If it's not the Liberal brand of tyranny, the far right will have theirs. There is simply no middle anymore. I'll vote Paul. At least I agree with the 85% of crap he's talking about sans the 15% where he's a total wacko. |

ROFL Nice try. Just admit that Obama is a total, unmitigated disaster of Carter proportions. Go ahead. You *KNOW* he is, was, and has been, you just won't admit it because of your affiliation. Look at it objectively man. Watch: George W Bush was a disaster. He should have never been president. Al Gore and John Kerry make G.W. look like a damn rocket surgeon, but the Dems foisted their barrel bottom candidates who didn't have a chance. None of the last three presidents had any business being there. The best part is that you'll happily howl that Bush was a total piece of crap, moron, who did nothing right, but don't have the intellectual integrity to criticize Obama WHEN OBAMA HAS LARGELY CONTINUED EVERYTHING G.W. STARTED!!!!!! In fact he's EXPANDED most of those policies! In fact the idiot took credit for the Osama killing when all he did was give the go ahead (Which he was forced to do) using information gleaned using torture, something Obama said he was adamantly against and roundly criticized Bush for doing! That's like Nixon taking credit for the Moon landings. The same corruption is there with added cronyism! The same failed policy. It's sad to say this, but the only bright spot of this administration has been Hillary! She'd have made ten times the President that any of the last three morons could have. Obama's foreign policy isn't. Putin called Obama the biggest coward he's ever met. The Israelis openly refer to Obama's bungling foreign policy as "Amateur Hour." His domestic policy is reminiscent of 1930's Germany. Come on man. Just admit that you regret voting for him in the last election. I don't regret voting for Ron Paul. "If you are part of a society that votes, then do so. There may be no candidates and no measures you want to vote for...but there are certain to be ones you want to vote against. In case of doubt, vote against. By this rule you will rarely go wrong." -Lazarus Long |

Obama sure stepped in it this time! It's one thing to be pro-abortion, but to mandate a religious institution into that philosophy is over the top! There's going to be a big block of voters watching this one.

The RINO's just fell into Obama's sucker trap that's all. It's a non issue. Obama's only trying to divert attention away from the hornets nest he stirred up with the Catholics. Last time I checked one could pick up a pack of Trojans just about anywhere!

Faith & Morals my ass! The catholic church is morally repugnant to me in that they do not allow women to serve as priests or bishops in their male dominated heirarchy. If women were in the church, then birth control would have ceased to be an issue years ago! This male dominated church want all women to have 10 kids & then be tied financially to their husbands.
Also, the catholic church doesn't have any morality when the priests & bishops have looked the other way while young boys were raped. This is the true definition of moral repugance!
Abortion is wrong? Tell that to the girl who was raped by her father, uncle, or some other man. Tell this to the woman whose health is at risk just by having a baby. Tell this to the woman who already has 6 kids and cannot afford to feed them let alone another one! Catholics don't have to use birth control or have abortions if they don't want to. I object to insurance companies providing Viagra to men even though I had to pay through the nose for birth control pills for years. $90 for 90 days, or $1.00 per pill.
Women didn't even get the right to vote until 1920! How dare the Catholic church continue to maintain their oppressive rules for women. HOW DARE THEY!

My wife and I are Catholic, and we have two children. I don't ever remember the Church forcing us to have 10 kids, and my wife makes in two days what I make in four, and I make good money! I received my communion from a female eucharistic ministers on many Sundays, and when my wife was in the hospital she was visited by a one. And, you seem to be forgetting the Nuns that serve the church. Your forgetting free will, there's no sword hanging over my head if I don't submit to Church Cannon. You are absolutely right about the molestations, those individuals should be rotting in prison. The priests and nuns should be allowed to marry, it's human nature.
That's a tired argument about a woman being raped and her right to an abortion being denied. The issue here is the State dictating to a private religious organization that they must provide a service that their philisophically against. |

Don't mix "The Right" and Republicans. They are not the same. Real Conservatives are against any government intrusion into our lives. The Republicans are with the Democrats in desiring more. But you are correct insofar as the Republicans are walking a tightrope, and I think they've all but fallen off. The deal about what they're calling "Whore Pills" is just about the stupidest thing I've ever seen, bar none, ever, and that includes Zer0's antics. Congratulations Republicans, you've just alienated 51% of the human population, AKA Women. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. If the Republicans keep pounding this retarded drum I'll vote a straight Democrat ticket in November. Who the hell do the Republicans think they are to bitch about Zer0care giving the Government jurisdiction over our bodies while at the same time they have no problem whatsoever foisting their stupid ideas of legislating whatever screwed up sense of morality they say they have. Worse yet is that they're just fine with putting laws on women's bodies. GRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Elver, so just to make sure we're on the same page here. Do you think that the federal government has the authority to mandate a private institution to perform a procedure that their philosophically against, even though there are plenty of providers to provide those services?

Well on the surface I'd say no, however, a Catholic hospital would have no problem taking my money for services even though I'm a protestant. A Catholic hospital need only to hire non-Catholics & look the other way. Isn't that what the Catholic Bishops & Priests have done regarding rapes of little boys?
I believe that the individual's rights should be respected with regards to their wishes with regards to abortion. Furthermore, I don't believe that a bunch of men who reside at the vatican, have never been married, and have never had kids should tell me whether I can use birth control or have an abortion.
Bottom line: The church has no right to my reproductive rights of self choice. PERIOD!
It's time for the Catholic Church to get out of the way. They've consistently denied women's rights through the ages. Close all Catholic hospitals if that is the only answer!

That's because, as much as some would like to deny it, the Christian Religion is a business above all else. That includes religious hospitals. That said, if you go to a religious hospital hoping for an abortion, it's well in their rights to refuse you. (Barring obvious health of mother issues, i.e. interfallopian pregnancies)
The coverup of disgusting perverts should result in every one of them, and everyone who knew getting gutshot and left to die. Slow.
Again, totally agree. Men in all professions shouldn't have a single say in women's reproductive health PERIOD. Until men start having children, they don't get to weigh in on abortion.
I agree with you, Elver, insofar as the Church shouldn't have any say over what women do to their bodies, but also disagree with you in that the government shouldn't be able to compel a hospital, which is above all else a business, to perform any procedure they don't want to. If I own a hospital and I don't think it's okay to do MRI's, it's well within my rights as a business to say I don't do them. If religious hospitals don't want to do abortions or hand out orthotricycline, that's their right to not do so. If you don't like that, take your business elsewhere.
Forcing anyone to do something they don't want is plain out wrong. It's why I am 100% against Zer0care forcing people to buy a product they might not want to. It's also why I firmly believe that Zer0 is the greatest threat to America we've ever known. He and his people believe that they're able to compel you to do whatever they want you to, and they're fully willing to use force to make you do so.
