We call it the stomach flu but we know it is a stomach virus. It seems that virus is really making lots of people sick this year.

I over heard today at the local fast food joint a parent telling a grandpa how little Susie was sick all over the bedroom. I was just glad she was far enough away so I could not get exposed to her or her child.

I know our school had a really bad bout in Sept and Oct. kids throwing up all over the place.

This virus is not a killer but I find it interesting that it may be worse this year.

If you or your family, friends, or co-workers have had the stomach virus please tell us.

Hi Flumom,
Yep we had it and it went through everyone in our house-including my 16 year old that had just had his wisdom teeth out the day before.  It is quite miserable and contagious. He got seriously dehydrated.

Yep, we had it here in Wisconsin. It has been circulating for a few weeks now, and my family had it last week. It was fairly mild, but still unpleasant.
