I see a link between pandemics and wars. History can learn us something about how wars are organized. Any major future war will be far worse than we have seen in the past. There are now more people in urbanized area's depending on logistics for food and water. Powerplants can cause damage beyond imagination in case of war. (The ongoing Fukushima disaster; http://enenews.com/peaked-year-after-fukushima-1000-average-rate-seals-continue-be-reported-hair-loss-makes-nervous-photo But also dams destroyed can kill on a massive scale.)

The Spanish Flu could have been used as a bio-weapon in W.W.1.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
