I have been long time member and I learned about the site in timebomb..but with so many new members in here..I am wondering how everyone has learned about the site..this is just to understand if the Main Stream Media is getting the word out good enough..or CNN news things like that..friends relatives..

I would have made this as a poll, but there are to many alternatives...

I found the site via web search.  I had some concerns about the BF and wanted to find more current information.  Glad I found it.  There is a lot of good information exchanged here.

I found the link on Dr. Niman's H5N1 commentary page at http://www.recombinomics.com/whats_new.html . I have enjoyed the technical insights into the whole thing, and most of all, the "news" found there is often days or weeks ahead of other "official" news sources.

I first heard about BF and possible pandemic on an NPR broadcast last year when they were interviewing Dr. Michael Osterholm. When more cases started popping up on the news I wanted to find some alternate sources other than mainstream media to learn more and did a Yahoo search and found this site. There are so many knowledgable individuals. I have been learning so much and feel much better equipped to handle what I feel is an inevitable situation. I also like the fact that if someone makes a definitive statement that they have to back it up with a credible source via a newslink, etc. I also enjoy reading people's opinions on this issue as well. Because of this site I am now in the process of preparing and still living my day to day life knowing that I now have a source that I can go to and get the latest news and track this thing.

I was trying to find more info on bird flu and I stumbled onto the site while I was on Yahoo under "bird flu".  At first I just read for awhile...I really enjoyed reading Albert's posts.  He was the one who convinced me to join in.  Thanks Albert!

I think I found it from another message board originally last fall and just came to check out new news. I got more interested last month when I started adding to my flu remedy stock pile and found such great advise on this board. Thanks for all the great information!

concerned about bird flu I would do a daily "birdflu" seach on MSN to try and find more info. This site was a sponsord site. After visiting I was really impressed with all the information I gathered. Have since recommended to friends and co-workers who have trouble believing in a possible pandemic.
