4 out of 5 in ICU's unvaccinated.....

i don't know about other ICU's but mine is full of people with comorbidities.  27 in my unit alone.  I have people with heart disease, muscular dystrophy, stroke, cancers of all types.  I have six on vents , three are dying and the rest are doing worse than death.   I guess that my past experiences with death and being technically dead are useful to the doctors and staff.  I am the old guy here. Having spent practically 7 months in ICU and dealing wiith death as a real possiblity for most of it, I have no fear of death, I just don't want to leave Vicki behind without a support system.  I fight for life to ensure that she is cared for every day of her life.  My desire to keep alive to help her is my primary focus.  There are about 150 Covid ICU cases in this hospital.   I am going to fight this thing and I must win, Vicki needs me and I have no choice but to beat the crap out oif this thing.  I dare not fail her....
