What a frightful day I had...I think we all go about our business and at times in the day think everything is okay(like it use to be),taking a breather from this growing storm and then you realize in no place, not even small town america is safe...As a bartender I met alot of people...but today 3 conversations.brought this bf fear right is my face..One customer and his russian girlfriend came in, she just returned from a trip to visit her parents, so naturally I asked her where in russia she had visited,NOVOSIBIRSK! I'm sure I visibly recoiled..Once I regained my mental composure, I asked her of any news of bf there ..any tidbit, and she didn't hear or know of any bf...then another fellow and his wife came in, I had never met her before so the basic friendly banter,I ask her what she does for a living...She helps her father run a CHICKEN FARM!..so I ask her the same of bf,how has it affected business etc..The birds are outside..she says the state has been testing them for showing at fairs but then she says to me "A sick bird could land amongst the flock after the tester leaves so why test?"....Then another fellow was saying how his sister's husband just returned from a business trip from INDIA!... Over the course of a few hours ,3 hot spot contacts..In a sustained h2h this could have been The Kiss of Death...Makes you realize that no matter how careful you think you are,the threat is invisible..I think I'll have a drink now .. a few pranaysanas...there,that's better..
